Mines ordered even tho I have had no trouble with the black one but at least you will have the chance of setting some backlash with this gear, Fusion/Vel 50 alloy bits are in too

Not sure what the newly listed black gears are all about tho, I've had them for months ???

I never bothered with the black gears, the white ones seem fine to me.

My white gears where all really tightly meshed and use to squeak even after a dozen flights, the black ones on the other hand are smooth as but I'm going try this CNC main just for the advantage of setting some backlash.

Got mine in and going to try it today, for those that had problems with the other gears I can't see this one stripping

I use a 4035-500 motor, is it advisable to get this new gear?

I got all black gears ATM. Or shall it just fly it and replace IF it strips?

I have been running all black gears up to now and have not had a problem but I think this gear is worth the purchase to be honest as there have been people reporting stripped main gears on the Fusion, there could be many reasons why (bad mesh, governor gain set to high....etc) but at the end of the day this gear is going to give you piece of mind.

Also take into consideration your motor has a lot of torque being a 500, also you can make it easier on your hardware with this gear as you can set some decent backlash.

I got mine yesterday, It really is a meaty piece of delrin.

I'm using a 4035-530 on the old white main gear and have had no issues
