The gyro mount is defo worth it, the plastic one is dire, although it obviously works

Any idea when the gyro plate will be for sale at retailers?
After my beast x woes I'm thinking of sandwiching the gyro tray with two hits of carbon
& screwing it all together, but if the tray is imenent I will hold off & wait for it.

What about using a couple of frame spacers and then sandwiching carbon either side to make a rigid mount that wont twist. The plastic one is dire and twists wehn you tighten the self tappers. The ally frame mounts wouldn't twist. In fact I think I've just convinced myself I need to do that. Or, a bit of ally drilled and tapped. I'll have a look at work and might have something lying around that would do the job. If I have do you want one made?

Just rummaged around our tool room Dave & found some 5mm ally plate

Should get away with it as long as your careful putting the M3 thread in. Should be enough meat left either side. I'm going to make one defo

There is Andy, they've released or about to release an upgraded mount. It's in one of the Fusion upgrade threads.
