  • Climb-out sponsorship and my new model :D

Well, some of you may or may not know that i am now a part of the Climb-out flight team . This arrangement came from flying at the 3D Champs this year. I was approached by Ade from climb out and had a few conversations with him whilst trying to set up an Align 700 beast x. A couple of phone conversations later and i was asked to join the team, YAY. I feel privileged to be a part of this company and will do my best to help any of you out there with any queries regarding anything that climb out do.

I have recently moved to university, meaning that i don't have any room to store any of my big smelly nitro's so, with the help of climb out i now have a brand new, shiny Outrage Fusion 50 to fly!! spec is as follows:

    Flybarless Fusion 50
    Beast-x Controller
Scorpion 4035-560 motor (I chose this motor to be compatible with a 700 sized model in the future if i choose to get one
    Scorpion 130A 50V speed controller(same reason)
    Running on 12s
    Spin blades 620mm
    servo's to be decided on

As this is my first electric heli i dont have much experience in what batteries (manufacturers) and 'C' rating would suit this model on this set up best so... Any ideas?

    Thanks A lot, Jack

I'd also like to thank my Dad because if it wasn't for him i'd never, ever be able to be in the position i am in so, Thanks Dad

    congrates jack, well done
The only thing you need to be carefull with is the length of the packs on the fusion as there will be some higher rated C packs that might not fit.

TBH u dont really need a very high one such as 60c as then only realy last a few flights, from my 450 batt experience i would say 30-40c is the best, the lowest i would say is 25c. Its really a matter of trial and error and what you prefer, but i think opti 3300mah 30c or summing like that!!!

Well done Jack! met you at the 3D champs this year (we were in the caravan next to your dads), thought then that you and your family worked hard over the weekend and made us very welcome. Looking forward to seeing you again next year, great to see talent being supported.
