  • Ouch The Fusion hits the Deck

    well after 3 packs this morning of burning up the sky and avoiding the damm cows that have
    decided to take residence in my little meadow that i fly in during the week i was practicing aileron tick tocks got carried away as i thought i could adjust my height whilest doing em turned out i could not and met tera firma .....
    However not to rub salt in any wounds of the unlucky guys that the tail hub has spun my pinned effort has not so good news in the bad
    i will post some pics later

    Thats called Karma, being allowed to fly during the week is wrong lol

    At least you crashed while trying something new

      yep could well be true mate LOL
      i have been doing them whilest flying backwards and forwards and they have been ok a little messy but ok so i thought i would try stationary started off ok just started to lose height and my attempts to regain altitude failed LOL oh well strip and repair can start later

        Yes mate, the cows are back and there are 4 new one's as well (male too so have horns). They are a bit feisty at the moment as they've only just been introduced to the rest of the herd but they'll calm down later in the year. You remember my song had a line that said "being chased by cows"? This literally happened a few times. They also like to wander upto you stealthily and lick your leg/arm/ear while you're flying. Ninja Stealth Cows! Just wait till all 30 of them watch you fly, I had my foamie plane out once and seeing their heads bob around watching it was hilarious.

          well im sure they were impressed with my misfortune i will master the stationary aileron tick tock just do em a bit higher for a while LOL

            so ive striped it down and i need to replace the following
            TT,boom,main shaft,feathering shaft,blade grip,skids and tubes, main gear,front TT gears and tail gears ,main blades and tail blades and plastic servo horns, apart from that shes in fine shape for a low 2300HS scrape with DOOOM

              what happened to the blade grip? need to be unlucky to nail one of those-the arms usually bite it though which are available seperately ofcourse.

                The grip it's self is perfectly fine but the arm took the brunt and the screw holes are not too good as per photo

                I may be able to clean it up and it be ok but got a new pair as a matter of caution really

                  Unlucky Kel good news on starting to do the aileron tictoc tho I find my timings way out in the real world compared to on the sim

                    Yer been working on em on the sim and can do em moving but stationary is harder than I thought and timing is key for sure

                          The cows are starting to loving my flying and they are starting to listen to me tell em to bugger off when I'm flying , I just point now and they move LOL
