  • Outrage "550": 575 mm blades?

    Hello,

does anybody know good 575 blades? (Or, "any" 575-size CF mainblades).
The box says "blade size 550..575", so I thought I might try.

PS just received a bunch of spare main gears from US and now I put in a 3.1 kW X-Era 4030 motor.
Let's see how it flies. Mildly tail-heavy... An "American" setup. With capital "A"

A smash success. Using the same gear ratio (Kv times pinion size), more power than the Scorpion 4025 AND considerably longer flight time.
How is that possible? It gets only mildly warm, and I can't feel that the ESC gets warm at all. Doing tictocs for minutes, literally.
Apparently it's more efficient than the scorpion motor.
Maybe their motors aren't as impressive as their packaging and advertisement material

Glad to hear of your success mate, got mine flying nice now.
Interesting to see the bit about the blades, don't know of any 575 blades, struggling to get decent 550 ones at the moment, every where is out of stock it seems

        how about those?
        Fast Lad Performance
I use those, but they are the only 550 blades I have ever tried.
Someone commented they were quite stiff - which is just fine with me.

Yep tried them, didn't like them at all, running NHP's at the moment but still not perfect, was going to try the SAB red devils but at 50 quid, can't bring myself to spend that.
Please please radix bring out some 550's

It's all personal preference with blades but after using MS Composit 550 blades on my 550 which I had in stock, now replaced with Maniac 550's I love the Maniacs, the MS Composit blades made it very pitchy in fast forward flight and it like to tuck under in autos, the Maniacs have solved all the issues and I'm really enjoying flying it now.
