550 first really happy flight

Well after investing in some 85mm carbon tails and some slightly softer carbon main blades had a test flight about half an hour ago down the park.
Have to say a noticable improvement, the piro rate is more consistant and controlled and the heli feels alot happier on softer blades, still not quite tracking a perfect line but putting that down to the sticky flybar hub, need to look at that and have a solution.
Hoping now i can fly it and enjoy it from now on.

Know you have not been completely happy so far but it has always had the potential to be the perfect leccy... ballistic power that just needed taming

Another good flight today, in front of some other forum members today to show it off, defo happier with it now though, feels almost like a 50 to fly

I've just got mine in the air and had a few flights on it - I am very impressed with this heli!
I definitely need more packs - one flight an hour on it just isn't enough

how big is a outrage 550????? trex500 size or 600 size??

It's a 30 size heli - swings 550mm blades.
Bigger than a Trex500, smaller than a Trex600

There's no shortage of power which is the biggest draw of this heli i reckon.

hopefully it will be kinder on packs than the 600 on 6S too!

yeah, my mates 600 was eatin packs and he wasnt even that good!! lol! just the 550 packs cost a bomb!!! lol

Thats the only problem with the 550, lack of blade choice, gone for some nhp's from midland, did have some maniacs on there but didn't like them much.
SAB's do make some also but i think thats about it, or at least what you can get hold of easy and i know the red devils are out of stock everywhere.
Run my 550 on 6S 5000mah outrage packs for info
