Good News For Outrage Fans! :D

Some of us were a little worried when Charley left... Most asked " What will happen to Outrage now?"

Well, I've just found this:

I dont think Charley Stephens leaving Outrage was of a major concern to the brand as its well established.

I may be completely wrong but it just seems the designer gets a raw deal these days as the the investors seemingly just take over. In reality as we are not privy to the reasons we will likely remain unsure why his departure came about.

I kinda think most people see the 'designer' as the Kingpin whereas its the men with suits, but maybe thats possibly my blinkered view on reality.

When I heard cs was leaving I thought to myself that I will now never buy an outrage but that has made me feel at ease and now I can buy an outrage

Charlie designed some awesome helis, I love my G5 and O550 and it's awesome that he comes online. Full respect to him for making the brand what it is.

Unfortunately you learn in life that nobody is indispensable, brands go on. Sometimes along the same vision, sometimes not. Look at Disney for proof.

Charley will be missed, end of an era, but I will continue to fly my beloved Outrage helis and hope the brand keeps up the work he did. Even if they don't my models will still be awesome.

Maybe we will be seeing more Rotoworx frames and parts with the 'smart' little logo on them who knows.

The velo 90 doesn't carry the rotorworkz logo either Dave. Good luck to Charly. I'm a little bemused by the statement posted earlier. "Nothing short of the very best is acceptable"? Um OK. Don't get me wrong I love Outrage stuff.
