  • fusion pack size

Evening I've acquired myself a fusion and i'm quite new to large electrics, and just wondered packs to use i'm looking for the best compromise between performance and flight time on 12s, I've been told 2x 3300 mah 6s but also been heard that it wont feel planted because that'll make it too light, suggestions welcome
    cheers Lee

If it ain't broke fix it until it is

3300 will be nice, you could prob get 4000s on but bit of a heavy weight IMOIMO

I used 2 x 6s 3500 Opti's and it felt to light for me. I then went to the Opti 2x 6s 4300's and that made the world of difference to the heli for me.

I think you need to try them and see what suits YOU and YOUR style. The Opti 4300's fit fine btw but I'm not sure on other brands. The Opti 4300 weigh about 697g according to the website.

I typically use 3300's Gens Ace ... feels nicely weighted for my limited abilities .... but not too heavy .

Depends what you want to do. I'm learning basic 3D with bad collective management and I get 6:30 from 3300s. It's a crazy light airframe aswell, so you could comfortably go for 4000s for the extra flight time

I started with 4000 packs but it was very heavy so I went down to 3300 packs and it flew great I did also use 2650 packs and for me they worked best but with very limited flight time so for good all round definitely the 3300 packs.

4300mAh Opti packs will be fine weight wise Lee.

Fusion is light so needs a little ballast to steady it down.

I used turngy & gens ace 3300 in mine. Fealt plenty heavy enough, loads of momentum in big air
