Protos 500 Stretch Question

Im currently running my Protos 500 FBL on 2650mah 30c 6s lipos, If i do the stretch conversion does any one know if these batts will cope??
Im currently getting 5mins with ample power left in the batteries, But dont want to spend the £100 on the conversion and find i need new lipo's as well.

I have both a 500 and a 500 stretch.

When I did the conversion I dropped down to a 14 tooth pinion from 15 and I actually got longer flight times than the non stretch! I have since dropped both of them down.
It's a great conversion but only recommended for the carbon version due to the fitment of an additional bearing to the top of the motor shaft.
The only thing to consider with the smaller lipos (I use 2700 and 3000mah) is the COG as you may need a bit more weight at the front to counteract the extra boom length unless there is room to move your current lipos forward?
