Why isn't this heli more popular?

I had one of the first batch into the country and loved flying it but the first crash was the last, it did so much damage, the frames exploded and wiped out the motor (broken fan), ESC and two servos. They fly exceedingly well because they are so light but that's its downside too, it doesn't crash well and the thought of buying virtually a new kit after every crash put me right off.

Not sure if the carbon frames are any better for crash resistance.

Exactly what i was going to say. Although i do keep thinking about buying another one.

I can only speak about my mini. It's just too scary for many people to fly

Depends how much you push your self. Some people are happy to take it 1 step at a time but some other's are willing to take risks, either to progress faster or just for the buzz of it. Depends how often you can afford to crash - how much time and money you have spare.

Well he joined in 2013 and is at 2 posts at the moment. That's about 1 a year. Obviously needs to try harder.
