Head Speed Calculation

Hi,

I have my Protos and it is flying wonderfully! :-) However with the unusal arrangement how do you calculate the head speed?

Any help greatly appreciated.

My friend has a site with a calculator, quite a complex one but perfect for getting a rough guide to your headspeed. Some models are presaved but you may need to adjust gearing ratios etc to suit your specific model.

EDIT: You should see an option for the Protos on the left hand side, a presaved one that has all the ratios, gearing etc ready set. Obviously if you use a different wind motor you'll need to adjust that, and main pinion.
