  • First Hop - Protos

After all of that messing about with the battery and nearly setting the hobby room alight, I finally got the Protos to bunny hop a few times... Thats enough for me today until its daylight.

But, bloody hell! Its quick, and the tail is WAAAYYY to fast! I have set the rudder to 70% expo to try and keep up with it!

It sounds like a beast, although the tail is flickering so ill need to alter the gyro to stable it - but not until daytime.

Move your endpoints/travel adjust in until it feels right for you.

Just makes sure the tail links are reamed enough that they are silky smooth or you will get bounce.

Also the pitch slider needs to be free.

Love mine flying on 5S 3300 on 18 tooth pinion.

I found out what it was (me being a dumbass)

I had changed the servo to a Digital servo and not changed it to digital on the gyro...

I had it sorted and It flew very smooth, but I came down a bit heavy on the tail and bust a blade holder, but Ive ordered new ones ad hope to take it out again soon...

Im thinking of selling the two blades now I have the Gaui 200 and MSH Protos (or maybe just one)

Im just glad i didnt shatter the CF blades...

If you decide to sell a Blade, I might be interested.
