Static on the protos

Hey All,

Ive got the normal static issue related to this model on the first flight. In normal mode it is fine but as soon as you switch to idle up it starts glitching.

I was just wondering if the g-force static wicks work on this model or if you need to use the motor mount to boom mod on the forums?

Protos Static

Hi,

On my Protos I have grounded the boom to the motor mount and then to the -ve of the ESC. I have also coated the belt in Graphit 33, which I plan to reapply every 20 - 30 flights. So far so good

I just grounded the boom to the motor mount on mine and never had a problem, there was meant to be a new boom clamp which would solve it but I guess it never happened.
