    Maidened my Protos 500 today

    This morning flew 2 flights on my new Protos 500 FBL and its nuts, its been a long time where i've had a flight that has actually made me laugh. I'll shall have that 1st pitch pump engrained in my brain, never seen something shoot up so quick.

    think i'm going to enjoy this model

    We had one at our club yesterday. 1st time I've seen up close too. Looked good.

      I've had mine for a while now and it always makes me laugh when I fly it. It really does stop on a pin head from stupid high speeds. The only thing I've found close is Rachel's nitro g4. That really is as bonkers as my protos and great fun to fly.

        When I first set mine up I had the TC set for a 3100 HS, and about 15 degrees of collective - it was absolutely ballistic. I now usually fly at about 2600 and 12.5 degrees collective - it is much more civilised .... Love it

          I know mine is +/-14 and i'm guessing the HS is 3K+, it sucked the juice out of my 2200 6S packs in a little over 3mins. I'll have to go more sedate me thinks
