  • Protos 700 prototype

Finally some decent shots of the 700 protos, looks real light! Single belt drive, tail set up looks pretty cool, still don't know an ETA for it yet though.

looks like its going to be very light and nimble like the 500, but its also not going to crash well. On the up side looks like maintenance will be very simple.

              No 700 crashes well

I like the looks of it, ti looks like oversized protos (minus the tail, wtf?), but as much as I like my mini protos, I don't think this kind of drive train will work on a 700. Time will tell.

Must admit I don't like the look of that Tail gear, from a distance it'll look like a brushless motor on the tail.

i like it. it looks like you will be able to stretch it, that is why they are running huge tail gear to reduce the chances of it slipping when running with larger tail blades. it should be really efficient and quiet, but it looks like even the lightest unintentional contact with terra firma may require new frames.

I like the tail, I like the innovation, not a fan of the tail servo on the boom though looks untidy. Running one belt limits your ratio hence why its so big, also the pulley is only supported on one side of the tail clamp.

Looks interesting! Whilst the tail might not be the most structurally solid compared to others, it's refreshing to see something different!

Holy crap, that makes the Goblin look like an OAP!!

That airframe looks crazy light and with a typical 12s power system that is gonna be like a Goblin on steroids damn!!

Its basically a bigger version of the 500 apart from that tail design which I rather like but this wont be a heli for me as the Goblin was too much lol. The servo arrangement looks nice too but a hard crash will do them in.
