Protos 700 v2

Exciting times are coming up!!
MSH is about to release the v2 version of the PROTOS MAX!
The power system went through a major change and the one belt system had been swapped around to a 2 belts system.
A huge oversize OWB had been moved to the main gear, and there are many many small changes all around on this amazing heli.
The other major change is going to be the PRICE
If I'm correct the kit with an MSH Brain will cost something like £497 or so, what is a great price for a heli which doesn't need upgrades, and can do hardcore 3D straight out of the box.
It's been amazing to take a small part of this huge project! This is going to be something what will turn people's head around

Motor is same 10mm shaft one as before? Do you know if there will be a kit+motor only option? My radio works only with Vbar.

they will go with smaller shaft so you can put whic ever motor you prefer into it, which means from the electronics only the FBL will be provided, but I'm sure there will be naked kit without the FBL too

I've been following this for a while now. This is what the v1 should have been from day 1, the 500 flew so well I bet this will aswell.
I'm looking forward to seeing one up close, any updates on release dates Morus?

I tell you what, that manual is a work of art. Quite possibly my favourite heli manual so far, that looks as easy to build as the Lego I used to play with as a kid!

What I mean is, have you done a straight dollar conversion? Or added VAT + import + UK uplift?

ie. most things £ for $ cost a lot more here than over the pond. Otherwise £497 including FBL seems very cheap! Is that blades too?

MSH is an italian based company I've been told 699 euro will be the advised price for shops or what is it called. it's not 100% that the price will be that down to the penny
but yes v2 has a very aggressive price
no blades
only FBL and the naked kit with the 700/800 option

ah. My guess then will be £497+20% VAT = £596. Add on UK fudge factor, and my guess will be something like £650.

Still, nice looking heli and I hope I'm proved wrong on the price!

MSH now have an official webshop..... So you can order the kit straight from there, if you are lucky or crafty enough it won't get stuck on the customs and there will be no fudge factor what so ever

I have to say I have always wanted a max, and to my amazement the few things that put me off have all been addressed here (scaled up belt system, low flight count per belt, silly 10mm motor shaft, price).

If msh have a chance of grabbing back some market share this must be it. Nice work
