...Well.. it turns out they crash pretty well!! My main belt snapped in mid air at helifest and it managed to unplug the sbus cable to my reciever at the same time! This meant I had no control so couldn't auto down. It went in inverted from a great height and landed on it's head.



Lower framed smashed like it should, carbon boom had zero damage (it bent the alloy plate it bolts to!!) I managed to shear the feathering shaft clean off and then mainshaft, canopy and links.
More importantly though, none of the electronics were damaged, the entire boom and tail assembly are undamaged, the main/tail gears are undamaged and even the upper frames nearly managed to survive (a bolt hole was split thats all!)
I had a mild crash on my old 700 and the parts to rebuilt that came to more than the parts needed to put this back together!!

The main belt had done 784 flights!! so maybe change it a little earlier than that next time! LOL
