What blade balancer is that? my last one snapped the mounting pin for one of the blades. I like the little piece on the top thatll stop this happening!

It did indeed come from FL. it is the most sensitive one I have used, and it's really good. Cost just under £30 iirc.Henseleit TDR

just out of interest, if you had to choose between this and a TDR, which would you get, and why?
I can't justify a heli like this yet, as my flying is not at the standard I set myself before buying a 700. I still crash on a regular basis, but once I have got to a good level, I fancy a quality 700 size Heli. I find the bigger Heli's easier to fly.
It's going to take a while to save the cash for one of these, fully equipped, but I don't think there is anything wrong with forward planning.Comment

Hi Cagey, very difficult question mate!!
As I have had my TDR now for 1 year, and have had about 60-70 flights on it, every time I take her out, it just makes me smile and I fall in love with her all over again!! The versatility of flight with really low to high head speed, you can cruse around for 15min, of let her loose for 4mins!!
The Diabolo is a stronger, stiffer airframe. It is more versatile for larger motors, and harder flying. It would suit the 3D style better than the TDR. I would love to own both, but they are so similar, it would be difficult to justify the cost of 2 £2.5K models that do the same thing very very well.
For me, I will keep my TDR forever, and may go down the route of the Goblin 770 for a bigger 'different' model.Henseleit TDR V-Bar x2
