What style canopy did you go for? I love my Triabolo, it's really as near perfect as I could hope for in terms of how it flies.

Good news! Yeah I had the exact same feeling when I first flew my Minicopter. I though oh this is going to be really different but I was totally comfortable with it straight away, it just looks different.

it wasn't without problems though. nothing that was not easy to deal with.
for starters savox servo's are 3mmm to tall to use but can be got around it you use your noodle a bits(spacers, and a bit of filing), the only other problem was , getting the chassis to sit square on a flat surface, this was caused by holes in one side frame being a little off hole centers with the other and when bolts tightened it twisted the frame a bit. and fixed by drilling out one side frame with next size hole up. all in all a great and easy build
Looks really good. i especially like the two stage gear train.
The misaligned frame holes is very disappointing on a heli of this quality and price. I would have thought with precision CNC cutting that sort of thing would be all but impossible? I'd have tried to get replacements if it were me.
Agreed . But it was a two min fix against a load of grief sending frames back and waiting for new ones, that may have the same problem. I only got the idea to drill out holes from a search on here where someone back in 2012 was building a diabolo 700 and had same problem.
I had hole alignment problems when building my 700 sized Diabolo a few years back.
Gert offered a new frame set but in the end I sorted it my self.
