Cool, I did speak to Tony about Dave's. Running a very high headspeed to I heard lol.

I Wont be going any where near that lol as I dont think it will be as quick as a 2 bladed machine but its so nice to fly. Only had 3 flights so plenty more to come to get a good grasp on it and find all the niggly bits if any.

Ben,If you do go over 2000rpm you will need to swap out that red tail pulley - it's only rated at that.

Done the cano windscreen today. Messed up the right side a little but not too bad tbh. Also done the blade mod so they fit in the holder and fold back into the custom blade caddy.

                TREEabolol coming

I still agree with Tony though Ben, three chainsaws for tree cutting would have been better, I believe Tony asked Dave Whitney if he could incorporate a lipo powered saw in his next batch of blades for you 😄

Looks good Ben, I like the simple canopy design, don't think it needs anything else on it.

                    • Flew on Friday in the so called 35mph+ wind, it was friggin windy but dont know how fast as my gauge was at home but I was out flying the 770 first and it was being buffeted around but I thought it was very stable considering.

Then I went out with the Triabolo. Well all I need to say is that the comments from Gav and Tony were that "it look likes it was flying in no wind." It was incredibly stable. The only time you knew it was in strong winds was when going head on as it would bob a little and when doing inverted tail first circuits it would rip round on the down wind part lol but other than that it was incredible.

                      • Think I have a new fave heli.

Did fly today by using cable ties to secure the batt tray every flight lol. With the 3SX it is awesome. A perfect pairing.

                              • Had to pretty much strip it down completely for 2 reasons.

The holes in the frames for the motor mount screws were just that, holes and not slots so I had no way to adjust the gear mesh so I filed them but was not confident they were accurate so they replaced them for me. The other being I had to add an extra bearing support due to using a more powerful motor.

Taken a while but I met Dave Witney at RCHA and he had the new replacement frames for me but then when we were talking and I mentioned I needed to add the extra support bearing Dave kindly offered to take the frames back as the holes need to be drilled precisely and seeing as he makes the frames he could stick them in the jig and have it done in seconds I also asked him to extend the slots by the ESC to allow easy access to the Kosmik which he did and sent them to me a week later

Slowly been putting it back together and just got to put the leccytroniks back in and its all good
