I have seen very similar flybarred heads converted successfully. The one thing I would mention is that usually there's a bit of reduction in throws between the swash and the grips (or really between the servos and the grips). So either longer stand-offs on the grips where the links attach or shorter ones where they attached to the swash. I suppose you could also achieve a reduction somewhere else in the linkage to the servos. It may be fine just as it is though, I'm not sure if there's any rule of thumb about the ratio of servo movement to degrees of cyclic.
It looks like the phase is a little off from 90 degrees but it's where the blades are ahead of the swash which should be OK.Last edited by trillian; 06-01-2016, 12:20 AM.Kasama, Minicopter, Henseleit, JR, Shape, Beam

i had the missfortune of test flying one for a chap
it flew like a sack of poo
but this may have been due to the idiot that set the model up and the cheapo fbl unit and radio
if done correctly then i wouldn't see a problem
i've converted std heads to fbl and they've flown wellHirobo Turbulence D3
