Had a couple of flights tonight on my Logo 500 with the bog standard settings and i was very pleased with the performance.

Agree with Andy V5 feels much smoother, softer, maybe more like a flybar in a way, very progressive, very pleasing and comfortable to fly.

Very locked in also, did not do a trim flight.

I want to up the flip and roll rate and need to adjust the tail gain as i had a bit of wag with my stronger pack.

Again cant say much as its all down to personal taste but as far as i am concerned the upgrade was money well spent and i will deffo be upgrading my others over the next few weeks.

    I like it a lot

Its difficult to explain unless you fly one,i hear many people who try a fbl system say they prefer the feel of a flybar but want the accuracy and power advantages of fbl.

Much like the Align 3g system, this upgrade has a more flybar feel than i think v4 has on first impressions.

So maybe it would be more acceptable to a newcomer to fbl,but it depends on the individual.

The accuracy and tracking, stops etc are much better than any flybar head i have flown, but the way the model responds to inputs and feels on the sticks lends itself to what a flybar would feel like.

I took to fbl from the word go but its certainly not for everyone, heres my first experience..

Finally got the new setup flying today.......V5 mini blue fitted....

If your heli is mechanically setup ok the express software literally takes 10 minutes MAX....

First impressions are good......using recommended Logo 600 settings with cyclic response set to medium and no expo it feels very similar to V4 BUT the cyclic gain seems to be more agressive....ie.....it rolls and flips quicker and snaps to a stop very nicely....

When carrying out my "normal" preflight checks.....checking gyros by tipping the heli the swash moves quite abit more than V4 ever did. Im still running in my packs so only a 1850 headspeed.......so things can only get better when I start winding up the HS.......

Ken, what heli did you fit the v5 mini blue line too? Just curious as thinking about fitting one on my 700E, that or buy a flybar head andbe done with this 'flybarless' game.

Had several flights with my logo 500 yesterday and played with a few settings to experiment Doing this now so that when I upgrade the other models I can apply the same settings as a good benchmark

Settled with the medium flying style as this feels the best overall to me had a good go with precise and the model is just mental on that they describe it as having a robotic feel and I would totally agree the direction change capability is insane flying flat out forward and then slamming full up or down elevator and the model flicks back inverted the other way in a blink

I like the feel of v4 and v5 very much so will run both until I have upgraded the rest

the one remaining 3g I have on my Rex 550 will be sold and replaced with another vbar or I might now sell the 550 all together great model that it is but these mikados are on another planet now
