is there anyone can make a Logo600sx nitro conversion kit ? i would be so keen to get one

If the two helis really do share most parts you could just buy the necessary bits and make your own 'conversion kit'?.. But i suspect that kit or individual parts, would end up being prohibitively expensive.

I am due to get my Glogo in the next day or so.........
Engine rebuilt, Servo's from MAJ, SwitchGlo Pro, VBar Neo Receiver, new thread lock and expoxy.....

Cannot wait.

I have / had 5 Align Helis, 3 of which were nitros. 2 electric.
Sold the 500Pro DFC and a 700N. Wanted something different so went for the Glogo.
I thought XL Power were thinking of doing a Nitro.

??? No? I just find it very amusing, the name, the looks (imo it just looks wrong). Mikado should have moved away from their leccy design and made it look much different. Like they did with the Xxtreme in a way. Or even go with the older looking 14 ??

I assume they kept as much common with the 690 intentionally to reduce development and production costs and give as much commonality of spares as possible. It was probably the only way the project could be justified financially. I dont suppose they expect to sell massive volumes in today's market and when there are quite a few new nitro helis on the market already. I guess if you like the look or not depends very much on if you liked the 690 electric.

As for the ugly exhaust sticking out.. With today's noise regs that's just something you have to live with on any glow/nitro heli, even the mighty Mikado cant engineer that away, dont like it go electric.

A little history on the Glogo,... it's one mans passion, designed by Kyle Dahl as a fun project using his own knowledge and passion for the hobby, and not by mikado, thus the use of synergy parts in the drive train.
It quickly became apparent that there was a fair bit of interest in the heli and only as recently as Global 3d last year Ralf at Mikado decided to kit it.
so quite a wonderful job and hard work by Kyle .
I know light weight was very important ,so, I guess thats why so many 690 parts are used
I personally like the use of wide side frame spacing , like the late great Align 700 nitro pro, very strong and so awesome to fly....
yes it looks like a logo but thats the fun of it , it looks like a logo and sounds like an Align / synergy/ whatever nitro,....
Me I applaud Kyle for his design and Ralf for going with it.....

I appreciate everyone has their own opinion and favours one over the other.
I like building helis and can build them better than i can fly them!

Nitros aren't really for me more for practicality reasons than anything, but i like the thinking behind the Glogo.. With Nitro you have a limited amount of power, much less than electric setups can give. So to make the most of what power you have you should make the heli as light as possible. Seems that was exactly Kyle's aim and having seen the flying videos it seems to have worked pretty well.

I'm in my "want a nitro" phase of the perpetual cycle right now. Probably wouldn't be something as flash as a Glogo for a first one. More like a cheap Trex 600 with an OS .50. But I know as soon as I go to the field, I'll see engines cutting, tuning problems, can't start it etc, and I'll go off the idea until next time.
