I've had some Helis in my time but never a Logo upto very recently, Forza sold me his 550sx and what's the first thing I do? Treat myself to a set of carbon frames. Although I love to tinker I'm now seconded guessing myself........ So my question is, have you changed your frames from the plastic to the carbon and what improvements if any did it make to the flying characteristics?

No improvements...yes they withstand crashes better but when you need to adjust motor to change belt or shim stuff its a major ballache.
Plastic frames all the way for me

The main advantage was a larger battery aperture and a 3rd bearing support on the main shaft. As Nick says it's a pain to adjust compared to the plastic frame. They are about 200g heavier. The sx style setup takes care of the 3rd bearing support on the main shaft and the plastic frames are great. I wouldn't sweat it go and enjoy.
