To me the biggest question is will this new head fit the existing 700xx? Sure looks lighter.

Not going to rush out to buy anything but am keen to hear more.

Lol I like my 700xx head the other day I used it to hammer in some nails on my new shelf, it has so many uses Lol.

Agreed P4ddy. The way Mikado and the Dahls have been talking about this "new plastic 700" everybody has been expecting a LOGO 700 as in a scaled up and improved for equipment placement LOGO frame, not a 700xx with a plastic frame instead of carbon. Something has very definitely been lost in translation somewhere and I'm betting there are an awful lot of disappointed prospective customers. We all know that Mikado has a reputation for improving on and upgrading their existing models and re-using components where ever possible but this just about takes it to the extreme (excuse the pun).
