Novelties Rotor Live 2015

VBar Control

Our successful radio control product line VBar Control will be extended by new and exciting designs.
We will offer metallized radio surfaces in two colors and transparent radios, the first of these will be the white transparent version.
Metal line radios will be equipped with aluminum rotary knobs and rubber caps for the switches.
More varieties will follow.
Available March/April 2015

VBar NEO now with bailout feature

VBar NEO will come to market in four varieties:

• with integrated receiver for VBar Control
• without receiver for use with other radio brands
• both also available with additional, external sensor

VBar NEO is equipped with the latest sensor technology for flybarless as well as for the bailout feature.
The additional external sensor should be used where a standard VBar Silverline would have been chosen. The sensors (silverline type) with ring technology are still preferable on models with high vibration levels.
External sensors can be retrofitted any time. VBar NEO detects the external sensor and switches operating modes automatically. In case of a sensor failure, VBar NEO will fall back to the internal sensors, thus providing real redundancy and providing additional operational safety.
The bailout feature works independently from the external sensor.
VBar NEO can be set up using a VBar Control or a personal computer/laptop computer running MS Windows or MacOS.
VBar NEO will be brought to market with the reasonably priced Express version of the VBar firmware and can be updated easily at any given time (e. g. with Pro version, bailout feature or new and exciting features to come).
Update and registration processes will be much more straightforward, using the same VBar Control Manager tool already known from VBar Control. Featurs and Apps can be added easily through our App Store.

All sounds good, except it looks like they're keeping the express/pro business model, which I've never liked.

It does seem a bit outdated now with competition not running the same model. I think they're probably only keeping the express/pro model due to the vControl, it's a way to justify getting into the full system as you get pro 'free' on every vbar running on vControl.

Makes a bit more sense now they have the bailout feature as an optional extra as well though.

So they don't charge for it unless you want it.

I will trying a Neo on a new project I'm just about to start building and will see what they're like, have Silverlines on my nitros anyway so won't be in a hurry to change them unless it's really good.

Unlike you though Brian I'm not happy to crash!!

One primary version with built in Rx, one without. Both primary versions with internal or external sensor. To map it out explicitly;

1. With Rx and has an internal sensor
