  • Nexus 30 set up - OMG so many cables....

Hi folks, Ive got this bad boy Nexus 30 which Im not anywhere near competent to fly, but do want to understand it. Ive changed out the bell housing and starter cone shaft thing, which meant removing the rotor assy - so Ive made a start.
Thing is, I have no idea on what components are what and what they should connect to. I believe in working through this sort of stuff, its all good learning. So in the front of the heli is the gyro and receiver (Futaba FP-G154 and FP-R148DF), I can see all the servos, an On/Off sx and of course the battery pack.
All of this is disconnected, so wires hanging out like spaghetti.

Is there an obvious way to see this, or do I need an hexpert to assist?

    Many thanks for any advice.

HiI have just started flying helis and i run a nexus 30 only flew 3 times an pretty much got the hang of hovering they are a fairly easy heli to work on and fly i would recomen just get a nexus manual as a pdf file off google and work from that they are easy enough to find the manual just go onto google and type in nexus 30 manual pdf and there are a few sites with them it will tell you all the linkage lenghs and everythin strip it right down to a pile of bits then put it back together to the manual checking bearings and other components as you go and use locktite on any screws that are into metal and superglue on any that go into plastic i know what your probably thinkin bout superglue but they will come out again the superglue holds them in great but is brittle so works like locktite for plastic dont overtighten the ones into plastic as it wrecks the thread in the plastic then just get some1 at your local club to go through it and track the blades with you and you should be away i would recomend carbon blades the NHP ones on fastladsperformance.com
