  • Caliber 30

    Hi Guys

Wifey is really getting into this heli lark and we are considering a caliber 30.
The only thing that could put me off is if the spares back up and expense. Not being able to accurately fly 3D is not an issue as it's life will be spent hovering, fig 8s and a bit of FF.

    What do you guys think?

    Thanks,
    Cheers, Lee.

its been a while since i played with one. but from memory they are pretty nasty. i mean... look at the canopy thats even worse than the orriginal knight canopy! :-)

i remember thinking the mechanics werent up to much but i cant quite remember why! Unless your thinking of the caliber3 which is REALLY nasty.

another thing would be if you were looking to change airframes yourself i would be tempted to get what you want then give her your raptor to use :-)

I remember my Caliber 30 very well, all parts wore out very quickly and a side ways crash ALWAYS tore big holes in the side frames as that long main shaft got ripped out of the heli.. And the cost of side frames is not cheap, I remember it was something like £20 per side as opposed to the £20 per set for a raptor 30/50.
