Can I just add to this, I never intentionally sold this as working, I was bought this as a gift back in 2003 and it was stated as flying, I unfortunately never progressed with it due to new family commitments & it got put away.

I have offered Simon £50 back due to the findings & hopefully we will see him flying soon thanks to the generous people on this forum.

Once again, Simon please accept my apologies for the issues you had.

Thanks to Danch for his understanding and SteveH39 for his kind donation of a "dooer-upper" - between the two heli's I've made a wicked hybrid - I guess Kyosho would have called it a DXR-T if they'd made it LOL.

Added the longer SR-T anodised blue boom plus matching anodised landing skids to the DX airframe along with the 12mm root rotor blade grips and Ripmax carbon blades that were on the SR-T. End result is a fine looking machine.

Had it running dyno style to let the engine settle after storage and a quick bearing inspection pinned to the grass with heavy duty tent pegs. Mixture adjusted and she purrs like a kitten at idle. Tried her tethered on a short length of heavy string and she lifts off the ground nicely.

Looking forward to trying some more adventurous hops and a hover in the coming days :-) I'm hooked.

      A very happy Simon.
