  • Concept 30 - sloppy tail blade gripes

    I've found that I can move the tail blade gripes quite a bit in the direction shown in the attached diagram.
    It's about 3-5mm of movement, which seems quite excessive to me.
    I've taken the grips apart and they seem fine, I just can't figure out why there is so much movement.

    it can only be bearings or the bearings fit on the grips. Some models are just naturally sloppy in this area until they are spooled up.

      Thanks for your reply Ade, so what would you suggest I do?
      Replace the bearings or just do a test flight and see if it works ok?

        its going to require a bit of dismantling and finding out what is moving that shouldnt be.

          same problem

          i have the same same loose tail blades on my kyosho concept and it flew really well both before and after i tightened the bearing nuts up
