hi i had one of these when they came out as kyosho stated this was the replacment for concept srx this i my opinon was a very poor sub standerd heli with to many faults Far to small rotor blades to cope with a 46 motor i sold mine on again and went and found a new srx it is one of the best models in 30 size at that time and i still have it now and continue to fly it If i was thinking like you now i would certainly look for a lot newer design than the nexus after all would you expect a ten year old car to perform like a modern one i dont think so . thats my two pence worth no doubt so one will share a different view : good luck and merry xmas barry
Midland helicopters do spares still for them. Not the best helicopter im affraid though. Starting system is a pain in the ass as its the old cone start. It has many crap parts that dont last 2 seconds and generally has loads of faults. Just not a very good helicopter at all really mate. You'd be far better getting a raptor or something similar. Simply for the ease of spares. I dare say midland wont stock every single part too. Scale is about all its good for to be honest. Although if i had a nice scale fus then id hate to stick it on a set of crap mechanics like the nexus.
Cheers

Pointless pussy footing about mate you just have to tell it how it is. Truth of the matter is if he purchases this helicopter then he'll be doing more fiddling than flying. Which has got to be a very bad thing especially if its going into a scale fus. Ya dont exactly want to be messing about all the time once its in there thats for sure. There a pain in the ass to work on anyways.
This is the first of the models I have been given.
I think it is a Kyosho Concept 30 Morley Hughes 300
I am going to clean it up and put it on flea bay I would just like some advice on what would be a reasonable price and would it be better to split for parts?
