Quick UK - Nexus

Ordered up some bits n bobs from Quick UK and as part of this ordered a new main shaft as my current one appears to be slightly bent 8O
It would appear that the part is no longer available from them for the Nexus or Concept 32VR (same part).

I need to lay my hands on a sensibly priced main shaft asap, I notice that www.alansmodels.co.uk have been recommended for parts but it would seem that their prices are high (12 + p&p) for a mainshaft! Does anyone have a cheaper alternative that would be able to source one ?

Luckily my Rappy 50 is still flying, the Nexus is to be dusted off to ensure all is ok.

The main shaft (aka H3321) costs 10.50 (inv Vat) and I also find they are very well priced on most spares.

UPDATE: I've just looked on Quick UK's Site and they still list the main shaft under the Concert VR section???? Strange

Indeed it is listed on www.quickuk.co.uk under the concept parts as this is what I ordered. They have removed the link from the Nexus parts list though :roll:

They do still have (at least I got 1 of each for spares) feathering spindle and flybar which is ok.

I would have been really annoyed if I had not also been ordering an wide undercarriage for the Raptor.

I was just looking at the parts on Midland Helicopters so will try to get one ordered up from them.

I have just placed my order for the H3321 Main Shaft. 11.50 all in is an ok price although I had preferred the Quick UK price 4.95, a great shame they are not producing these anymore. Guess all their Nexus/Concept parts are end of life now.

Anyway with any luck I may have it tomorrow or Saturday
