  • Kyosho Concept 60 SR II Carbon

    Hi,
I have one of these heli's in a Jet Ranger body...... lovely machine, flies nicely.
I'm looking for a main rotor head blade grip suitable for the 5 mm diameter blade bolt.
I'm not even sure of the part number because the manual gives H6103S for the blade grip pair as spares - but I have a NIP pair of these and they are for the 4 mm blade bolts??
So - does anyone know the Kyosho part number (not reference number)or have a new / used-but OK condition blade grip or pair of grips they are willing to sell?
    Many thanks
    John B

    Hey John.

Wow a proper blast from the past model, having flown Concept 60's and 30's many moons ago.

Sadly due to it's age spares will be thin on the ground, however I would give Midland Helicopters a call as they have been in the business long enough to have amassed a lot of old makers parts over the years and may well have a blade grip or two somewhere. It's certainly worth a go as I know they still have the odd Kalt part floating around.

        You're welcome buddy.

Midlands is like an Aladins Cave for models, they usually have those old discontinued parts hidden in a bin at the back :-)

Yeah, I started with a Kyosho when I got into this hobby about 3 years ago, and Eddie was a life saver, highly recommended!

Eddie sorted out some Trex 600 parts for a guy at our field just last week (they shouldn't be hard to get, but see the recent thread). He phoned him up, then went to pick up the parts. He says he's a top bloke.

He's just launched a website too, as ebay were taking to larger slice. HELI-BITZ
Though the prices are the same as ebay, he does do a discount if you buy through his website.
Current fleet: Goblin Thunder Sport (700), Trex 700L, Logo 600, Specter 700, Henseleit TDR, V-Baaa control.
Next heli: I have pretty much everything I want. Maybe I'll upgrade some electronics or something.

Thanks Everyone - I've spoken with Midland - awaiting Trevor's return - he's the guru on elderly heli's apparently.
I've checked Edie's EBay shop has the same parts I already have plus a spare rotor head.
My problem is the 5 mm blade bolts -I may have to revert to the 4 mm & change the blade bushes

you can fit spacers to the 5mm blade bolts to reduce them to 4mm

I have a few helis with grips drilled for 4mm and I just use a pair of brass spacers for blades with a 5mm hole. It's only a minor hassle if you change blades a lot. 4mm is fine if you're not running high headspeeds.
