  • Ripmax & Kyosho

G Dave, informed us that the both are parting company. However, where does leave the hobbist for parts, new kits etc.

Amerang Group, who import the Thunder Tiger as well as others also are the importer for Kyosho Diecast models. So I'm making a prediction that Amerang are in the frame for it.

    Time will tell....
    Cheers

    I have a Concept 46 VR.

Does anybody know of any suppliers who are taking over the Kyosho dealership?

I have no doubt that I will be needing parts shortly. I am sure to crash at least once over the summer.

I heard that Kyosho were moving to France. If you look at their website, they do not post any dealer for the UK for RC. The closest would be France or Germany. The site does show Amerang as a dealer on the die-cast stuff, but there could be resistance from TT if they took on the RC stuff as well.

Possibly the next thing to do is to contact Kyosho direct and ask them.

          Hi oops,

I know that Kyosho are or have setup a European distribution company in France which is to start supplying UK and other mainland European countries model shops with Kyosho products from their entire range.

There was a letter sent out to all UK model shops who previously took Kyosho products informing us that this was the case. I dont think from memory there was any specific date as to when this new supply network would be in place, I think it said simply 2005.

I would speak to your local model shop, as if they previously supplied Kyosho products they should have a copy of the letter at least and be able to find out more accurate information for you.

          I hope this helps.

          Cheers,

          Pete.
