Kds agile a7

Check out the link below stumbled across one on a Chinese site for sale at a very good price. Anyone heard anything about them and is there a UK dealer? I don't mind ordering a kit from China but would like better access to spares.


Agile A7 helicoptor kit

I always liked the Agiles. I had a 5.5, and a club mate had the 7.2. They were both heavy for their class, but well made. I honestly thought they'd closed until I saw the A7 on Facebook a month or two ago.

I asked about the tail boom on facebook, and it's down from the 30mm of the 7.2 to 25mm which is what the 5.5 had. I'm assuming they're using the same tail box as the 5.5 as a result.

It's an updated version of the Agile 7.2. The 7.2 was quite popular 'back in the day' but there is no longer a UK KDS dealer. I still have a 7.2 but it's something of a shelf queen. The new A7 does look very nice, there was never anything wrong with KDS quality, they are very well made. The biggest 'fault' was that the 7.2 was heavy but by all reports the A7 is a fair bit lighter, so while no lightweight it's now at least average weight for the class.

At that price (which included a KDS FBL unit and programming box) it's an amazing bargain.

Looks good but think I'll need to fully investigate spares availability before commiting. I think ERC in Belgium stock KDS so may check to see if they can get or will be stocking any spares.

I'm still interested but I'm more interested in what price bracket it will fall into here as the prices I've seen from china are very good tbh.

Price is going to be toughly the same as buying from China with full spare backup for the A7 and continued support for the Agile 5.5/7.2 and Chase 360

Well you can't say fairer than that. I had an Agile 5.5 in the past, and it was a very nicely made model, with spares prices that even Align couldn't beat.
