Hmm,i will certainly keep mine but might put it to one side for a fair while,let parts on shelves get sold and then later on hopefully try some new gears in it,hopefully with no machining issues by then.

Hello!
I've had warped and brittle gears on mine. I found what cured the problem was putting a few washers underneath the auto hub block (above bottom bearing) to make the mesh on the auto gear tighter (but not too tight).
As for the tail fin flexing.. it does, the carbon it is made from is quite thin causing it to flex.. just ignore it, i did and it seems to have gone away (maybe cause it want getting my attention any more LOL!)
The 5.5 flys amazingly well bar these slight issues, I love mine!Jack

Little update,stripped the head and greased the dampers up well again and the bobbling has all but gone,still have tail fin vibe but i am going to try a couple of different fins i have,kinda reminds me of the old Rex 550 tail fin vibe and fitting a 600 one as a cure.
Got the Logo550SX kit now also so got to decide what to do(only logical solution,keep both
)

+1 on keeping both. My tail fin vibe disappeared below 2400( still vibrated, but less at 2500?), after fitting a flat tail drive gear & silicone greasing all the gears.
My next step was a 6mm tail fin hahaha, then it wrecked itself altogether, problem solved!Andy

I have mine flying sweet now,for me apart from the vibe issues,the thing flew too heavy on 550 blades.
Reducing the V bar cyclic gain to 60 has all but cured the elevator bobble(using 4500 or 5000mah packs) and the tail fin vibe is not too bad as HS comes down.
Today I tried mine on a 6s 3300 pack and it transformed the model,set my headpseed at 2000rpm,almost no vibes and no elevator bobble on these packs.
The model feels a lot better and lighter in the air,it was singing at this headpseed and the tail still holds fine with everything I asked of it,whats more I got 4 mins out of it with 20% left in the pack.
This thing TBH has been a right barsteward up until now,most of the time I am lucky enough to hit the sweet spot for me in a flight or two,but I really like the layout of the Agiles so gone the extra mile to try and get somewhere with it.
I still feel my Logo 550SX eats it for breakfast at my kinda headspeeds but I am pretty happy with it now.Last edited by ChrisB; 28-09-2014, 05:20 PM.
