  • Agile 7.2 blade grips

Got a problem with my main rotor grips, I am pondering whether if a fix is possible. The threaded part of the grip that the pitch arm attaches to, has been tapped at an angle as you can see in the picture.

I was thinking of drilling it through, adding a flat and a nut?

Its either that or order a new pair of grips from HK.Click image for larger version

Contact the shop for a new set!!! or if it second hand then get a new set.

Thats a bad bit of QC right there.

Not something worth messing with IMO. If it was me I'd be looking to get replacement parts.

For such an integral part of the heli of was to fail in flight it's going to be a bad day.

Agreed with Sam and Ben. Bin it and replace. Danger waiting to happen. Take plenty of pics and get the shop to replace.
