well after a disasteurous outing last week with the faifa i finally got to have a proper go with it today, chickened out of maidening it and left knifedge have the honourafter getting the go ahead from james i had a little fly myself

what can i say it was awesome,it just felt so light on the sticks compared to my trex 700 which feels a bit heavy at times
it was a joy to fly,the precision of the heli was great and its scary fast with bags of power..

there was only one little niggle which was caused i suspect by last weekends disastorous auto which ended with me landing quite heavy tail first, there is a slight bit of play on the tail mecanics which is causing erratic shaking in fff...we at the club ruled out gain related problems so cannot wait to get this sorted and get back in the air

beautiful bit of kit and so easy to fly,big thumbs up from me,and like the title says,im still smiling

i deffo felt as comfortable with it as my trusty t 500 and i love my 500 but i think this is going to take over as my main heli for sure, just having a look over my trex 700e now, getting it ready for sale,i cannot see me flying this over the srimok....period

i feel like ive got the heli bug all over again

          Coolio

What was the issue with the tail for you to say it not a gain issue?

            hey ben
there is some serious play at the back of the heli, the bushing isnt right,i whacked it goodo last week and have overlooked it in my rebuild/weekend maintenance.we did say at the field it would of been good to compare it with yours today but it deffo isnt right

So if you hold the head you can turn the tail rotor a fair bit, is that what you mean?

If so its just a case of playing with some shims and its a messy job cos its full of copper grease

Any vibes evident on the tail fin?

i dont think its this as there is no play this way,you know the bit that attaches to the collar on the tail slider, plastic, the arm that controls this has some serious play,i think the gyro is acting overtime to keep compensating for this play.i think it's not going to be too bad to sort out,in fact im going to have a look at it right now,see if i can sort it out,now where did i put me hammerits a must have tool for this heli

lol, replace it before it does some proper damage.

Check midlands as they still got some stock so grab the part numbers of the bits you need and use the search as it really works
