  • guvoner / back plate sensor quetion

just got back from the field and was flying with mark cristy had mark do some fine tunning on the srimok and all was going well had a small problem which thanks to eckman this is now sorted

one thing that i was advised by mark was to get a guvoner
so my question is ,is it posible to fit a back plate sensor on the YS 91 srs and the srimok ? i have never used guvoners before so this is new ground for me
    thanks for any help

Don't see why not, as i have the backplate sensor on a OS, and they do have a universal mount with the sensor.
Just don't set it too close as it's a pain to adjust after the heli back together.

Is that just the 91 SRS then? Tried a 7100r on my ys 56 today and it seemed to work fine.

The backplate sensor works on the 91 SR. I have one on my Kasama.

                      Not the 91 3DS

                      Not the 91 SRS

The SRS and the 3DS have steel lined backplates. It will work if you use the SR backplate.

As for the Spektrum backplate sensor, there is an adaptor that can be used with it for futaba govs like GV-1 ( i have 1)

                      Hope this helps

thank you for all your help , im not one for changing things once things are set and working i like to leave them
im still undicided on what govenor to get
always having futaba gear i like the 701 but the genral feeling i see people having over this is its out of date
then there is the total G but will i ever use FBL anwser is proberly not
which then leaves me looking at the multi gov pro
and last the csm one which is much cheeper but works
also the Curtis ATG 1 is ment to be good and at 60 pounds dose seem a option

The Throttle jockey Pro = Gov

                            Revmax = Limiter

Both excellent and work with the Backplate sensor.

The new Throttle Max lets you choose either

You need to space the sensor correct distance from the backplate. Too close/touching and it won't work
