If its any use to you and you are anywhere near me, you can use the parts from my airframe and when Ben sorts you out just give me the stuff back.

..or ben can send me the stuff instead.

      Anger receding now...

      Beginning to feel the love...

Thank you for your kind offer Paul, Ben has sorted me out (partly from his own spares stash!!). The fact he’s PM’d me on a Friday night to make sure I get up and running again goes a very long way in my book.

Thanks again Ben, I know I’ve made the right decision buying the Srimok. Your support 2nite has confirmed that.

Hmmm, Align and all the others = 1, Kasama = 0

I can understand why some people like the Kasama but whats the good of an engineered to perfection (well apart form all the fixes that have been issued ) heli if you cant get parts in the UK from a major dealer?

If I had bought a Kasama I'd be really hacked off about now.........

Still my Aligns might not be as good technically but at least Ive not paid £1000 to see the kits going for bargain basement prices now and my Aligns still exceed my capabilitys. Also the parts are a damn sight cheaper.

I like haveing 95% of the performance or customisation of say an avant or kasama for 50% of the price

Genuinely sorry for the Kasama fan boys.

I wonder how many will end up on ebay or the market here over the next few months?

Hopefully a dealer will pick the heli up and no-one will lose support for their heli. After all the more helis on the market from multiple manufacturers the better the competition and choice for all of us

Im guessing you havent owned a Srimok then? Have you even flown one?

You simply cannot compare the Srimok to an Align model, and I wouldnt want to.

It wasnt that long ago, the new range of Align helis had 25% knocked off theire RRP by a certain retailer/owner on here!

Concept have practically every nut and bolt in stock and this hasnt been an issue, its exactly the same as my Velocity. FL are the only retailer, and its not been a problem either?

Hardly bargain basement and I'm sure we are only talking a dozen or 2 kits???

So some guys get a very good deal. Excellent as it means more get to fly kasama, I would have rather payed £700 of course for my E but it's worth every penny of what it cost me.

I don't moan (too much) when I buy something like a tv only to see it 3 months later in the sale! It's worth it if your happy with it, and I bet you would only find a handful of people who are unhappy

True, I was only having a bit of fun People forget its a hobby and its supposed to be fun. Were all boys with toys, does it really matter what we fly as long as were flying?

Theres a lot of 'heli snobbery' sometimes that can be really funny

My toys are shiner than your toys

Exactly, as long as your happy who cares Its your cash buy what you want.

Its the way of things isnt it? always something better/cheaper etc next week

Thing is if a larger store like Midlands drops the heli then its probably because its not selling well enough to justify the shelf space. Thats a concern for anyone who is in the position of having bought a heli and needs support.

Seriously heres hopeing things are ok with the other suppliers.

No I haven't. Seen a few, thought about it decided against it. My choice. If I was going to spend that kind of cash on a heli I'd more likely look at Avant/Synergy N9 or JR Vibe 90 etc.

I can and did and decided that you don't get twice the heli for twice the price, even if I could use the programability of the heli. Which 99.9% of people can't. Still you buy what you like etc

Bargain, even better value for money

Good, hopefully those that decided they like the Shrimok can still get the support they need.

Just because I dont want or need one does not mean its not a good heli Saw Rob Turnbull flying one at 3DS and had a chat with him about it. To be fair it was very nice indeed.

He still got beat by Matt Gill and a T-Rex 700 though...........

                                From what is obvious:

                                PAST TENSE:

                                Align and others = 2, Kasama = 11

NOW: After 'a few' posts on this thread,

                                Align and others = 1.99, Kasama = 11.

(Nothing has changed. For whatever reasons, one distributor decided to pull out. Its their business, its their choice. Fair play. The reputation of the Kasama still stands.)

It will be good, if people just grow up, for f***in ONCE!
