So how do they compare to the Goblin 700, any comparison?

There is a looooong thread on HF about this.

IMHO if you do HARD 3D the Goblin all day long as its built and designed to with 3D in mind but it does fly well at lower headspeeds of say 1900-2000 for my style of flying and I do still enjoy it. Plus it looks frigging awesome in the sky

The TDR is me all over. Its great for fast big air stuff, it will 3D but its not got the same design ethos as the goblin.

I like both but they are both designed for different things. Quality is superb on both. For me and my flying style the TDR is the best I have ever owned no doubt.

I've flown both my Goblin and RcTinTin's TDR back to back a few times now. The TDR has without a doubt the best tail of any machine I've ever flown - totally solid, doesn't wander, absolutely robotic as it should be. The tail on the Goblin is very very good, but i do botice the occasional small kick during fast and hard pitch changes. The cyclics are very crisp on the TDR, be it at 1300rpm or 1950, BUT there is something more positive about the cyclic feel of the Gobbler when smacking it about. Given the choice, I prefer the Gobbler, but can 100% see why Ben and Rob (RcTinTin) love the TDR feel.

I tried phoning stoner mark to see if it was him & I got an answering machine message from him saying something about going down the hairdressers for a ginger rinse don't quite no what that's all about.

                          No paul why?
It was only a joke m8 & one Ross has heard once or twice from us at Phoenix.
Mark swears he's not copying Ross but we all know deep down they must be
                          long lost twin brothers
Infact I've just heard Mark thought TDR stood for Total Dead Ringers
