If you think thats bad, you should try selling a Vision 50 comp !!

When I decided to get another 90, I looked at the Vision 90 as my 50 has been pretty good, but after seeing the price some of them go for, I just went for the old faithfull Trex 700. I've seen a couple of very nice as new airframes go for less than 150 quid, which is a silly price for a current 90 sized airframe.
        Cheers,
        Simon

Their mistake was bringing out the Ultimate IMO, they should have just waited for the Competition.

The Ultimate flew better than the 600, a lot better too.... but parts were expensive and the quality wasn't great.

          Shame though really...

Yeah and the later kits corrected the problems some had with the first batch. I never had any of the typical
issues others reported. I converted the stock head to FBL and put a BeastX on it and then it flew straight as
            an arrow.

I think right now it's just not easy to sell anything except maybe a Trex 550, a 700e or a Logo.

The current ElyQ fleet really is a lot better than most people would have you believe IMO. It's just their spares prices that are shocking.

                  Hi Guys

whats spares are you talking about as the only things that are more than the Trex are the Frames really and thats because they are Real Carbon Fiber..the rest of the parts are in the same ball park price wise, and the machine flys really well :-)
If u r not crashing u r not flying hard enought

Are the 50 frames cheaper than the 90 now ?? Last time I looked, the 50 spares in some cases were the same or more expensive than the 90. That's what killed their popularity, as the 50 does have a habbit of breaking it's side frames in relatively light crashes. It's great they are real carbon, but honestly from my point of view I don't really care. Would rather have a set for 30 quid that look like carbon, but are stronger or slightly thicker and less likely to fail around the stupidly thin areas.

I really like the way my Vision comp 50 flies, and I have decided to keep it until I run out of spares as you literally can not give them away. I have two spare airframes, one of which was a new kit which I think I paid 150 quid for, only 50 more than it would cost you to replace the side frames.
                        Cheers,
                        Simon

Yeah I've heard of a few people breaking frames in "heavy landings/light crashes". I have the extra doublers installed, so I hope I never have to put them to the test.

All I can say is I love my Visions. I do question the quality of some parts, but generally they're very good. The CF is very thick and strong. Cobine that with a narrow airframe and it's a very rigid model.
