  • Vision 50 Maiden flight today.

Thanks to a fairly dry day I finally got my vision 50 comp in the air. Tried setting all the curves myself and they weren't too far off, so I'm chuffed about that.
Its so smooth! And there's plenty of power with a OS 50 hyper. I think im going to love this heli
Unfortunately it's first flight was cut short because the engine back Plate fell off
Would someone please tell me what screws are used because I dont have a manual.

If its an OS50, they are normally M3 cap heads, maybe 6-8mm long at a guess.
    Cheers,
    Simon

I never loctite those screws and never had them fall out. Have you had the back plate off to have a look at some point ??
          Cheers,

I was always told not to put locktite on engine screws as the temps would often turn them to liquid and as a lubricant..

Would not worry to much about temp, as I think it will take 180degree c temp, if that part of the engine is that hot u are in trouble. I use a green loktite, code 270. I use on my exhaust also with no probs.

I did take the backplate off a few weeks ago. So obviously didnt tighten them up enough.
