Most Thursday evening's we have an indoor flying session at the Ashford car auction building. It's usuall a good laugh, lot's of **** taking, lots of crashes, and generally a bit of a giggle. This week however I was late to the party (mortgage broker meeting - yawn), but got a phone call to get down asap as they had a heli for me to "try" and fly. When I got there, I was handed what resembled an MCPx. It had a custom frame, shortened tail (about a 3rd shorter than stock), shortened main blades, 2s 300 lipo, the most immense brushless inrunner main and tail motors, a reprogrammed main board, and the best bit, a 10k rpm head speed
The chap who brought it down was a new face, never been before, but explained every little thing he had done to it, and said to me "try and fly it hard, I can't and I don't know if it can take it. If it goes in, it really doesn't matter!" I obliged, and by christ was it lively. Insanely fast cyclics, incredibly fast and sharp collective, tail hold that is like no other MCPx I've flown, just awesome. It took a minute or so for me to get accustomed to it's ways, but after that it really was fun. The only down side is that it's so damned small that I could hardly see it for most of the flight, especially as it has no canopy currently. A pal video'd the flight for me, hopefully next time I'll get a better quality vid taken, but you get the idea! More details on the heli here: Little Mcpx Dart - HeliFreak

I'll know more in the week once I've been able to test it out
