Trex 450 pro v2 is great as a nx step or the blade 450x!

By the time you've replaced the parts that are bent or machined incorrectly it's about the same. There are however some decent clone airframes out there! Gootch and Tarot have good reviews, but by the time you get it landed and put electronics in it, it's about the same money as a good second hand 450 from the FS section really.

Went with a mate to his club today and he flew his trex 500.... I crapped myself without even being at the controls!!! Think I might need to build some confidence rather than a 450 !

What could also be an excellent 2nd heli is the mini titan. If you are more worried about learning to fly that keeping up with the jones's and having the latest model, it will serve you well.Getting on a bit , but represents fantastic value as a beater heli, less than £90 from Midlands or Fastlad.Would still need servos etc, but imho , a better deal than a clone that you throw silly amounts of money at to get to fly halfway decent.
