Ok here are my current upgrades, in order: extended tail boom v2 mount and blade, bobs workshop 3amp esc and blue brushless motor(very smooth, slightly more powerful than stock), 300mah 35c turnigy battery x2, airtime products landing skids x2, microheli advanced x frame(swash winging its way to me right this second). My ability: figure of eights, reverse figure of eights, inverted hover and figure of eights, backwards inverted(very messy!), Piro flips and half piro flips, rolls and loop the loops.

my next upgrade should be? Should I get: more 300mah batteries, 5 for 25 quid; 500mah batteries instead, 2 for 12-15 quid; c05m motor upgrade from 10500kv blue motor to 11500kv for c05m 16-20 quid; or is there something i'm missing?

flying the mcpx is a weekend treat now, flew it every night for months! Taught me to fly, but, I now have flight sim and learn everything on there, even learnt piro flips, and transferred to the mcpx(easier on that than the sim!). so more batteries might not be an advantage, I concentrate on quality time if you know what I mean;-)

So, batteries are flavour of the day! any advantage to having the 550ma batteries over the 300ma?

You can get around a 5-6 minute flight time on brushless with the 550ma
