New MCPX V1, Weird noise...

New MCPX V1. All I did was take it out of the box, swap the board for a V2 board, put grommets on the swash and put a pre-prepared extended boom on it.

Any ideas what this weird noise is? Doesnt seem to affect the way it flies at all...

just some hit and miss guesses bad motor bad main gear bad servo ?

gah that sounds rough i'd be taking a look at the main motor.

I'd guess either tail motor or main gear. Try holding it and giving left/right rudder. If it's tail motor it should get worse/better with left right rudder inputs. What's sort of state is the main gear in, do you have a spare to try? The main motor noise sounds fine but it has this extra intermittent noise on top.

Like, literally - that was the first battery out of the box.

I took the heli out of the box, changed only the carbon in the tail boom, put the V2 board on it and then test flew it. It made a funny noise, so I landed and made that video.

The heli had had less than a minute flight time out of the box when I made that video. Flies beautifully actually!

Well that's the noise my main motor made when it was crapping out.

You tried a drop of oil or two?
