Mcpx and pcm9x2

Hi guys this might be a silly question and i am new to this but i have a pcm9x2 tx, can i bind that to my mcpx. Again sorry if this is a silly question.

not unless you buy a DM9 spektrum module for about £70-80, but for that money you could sell the PCM9x2 and get a DSX9.

turn on the mcpx, and wait for the blue light to start flashing. Then (or before) turn on the radio with the DM9 bind button pushed down, and wait until the light on the heli goes solid blue

I would be guessing as I dont have an MCPX, but i do have the pCM9xII and dsm module, On the module there is a button. Put the mcpx to bind as per ITS instructions, Then to put the PCM9X into bind, press AND HOLD the button on the module while turning the tx on. Hold it in untill the light on it starts flashing then release.

Thanks alot guys! like i say im a complete noob and am trying to learn as much as i can on my own, another question, i only got my pcm today im guessing im going to have to set it all up with the mcpx is this difficult?

Use the settings for the DX7 from the manual,
Read the binding instructions and away you go, I use mine on a PCM9 with a module no problem at all

ha sweet got it working! think what i have to do now i create a profile in my pcm and get the settings frrom the dx7 for it

how do i create a new profile in pcm9x mate?

You need to get the PCM 9 X II manual and have a good read, But hold down enter whilst turning the TX on, That will get you a different set of menus

Right im all up and running now guys, created a new model and used settings from a dx7 i found on youtube. Cheers
