Stock wieghs in at 1.1 grams.... so there should be little to worry about with fligh time....or performance!

I am not satisfied with the skids that were sent out and as such a redesigned "revision4" will be coming your way. They are tougher, and only slightly heavier than the Rev3's. .1gr . Everyone who bought the Rev3's from me is in the qeue for a new set. So enjoy and keep an eye on your post box!! Happyflying!!
Hi, ordered a set from you today. If poss could you send black ones as i ordered white ones off the site. Left a message on the order anyway....
    Cheers, Karl.
    Cheers all.....Karl...

Got mine today and they certainly look and feel tough. Have you seen the video on YouTube where someone runs over the skids with his car and they come through with flying colours ? No chance to fly today but hopefully tomorrow.

I am in touch with Rick (Air Time) and as he says in his post he has redesigned the skids to make the mounting posts even stronger and will be sending revised versions to early adopters. He also has other ideas in the pipeline including coloured skids and possibly low profile skids to change the appearance of the heli.

Yep apparently I have another set on the way too (Rev 4) so the service is great!!!

I put a few batteries thru the little fella yesterday evening when it was pretty damn breezy. Had a few HEAVY meetings with tera firma and absolutely no damage whatsoever. The stock skids would have been totalled several times over!!!!

        I like them :-)

Darn my new airtime skids haven't arrived and I'm off to the airport ... Neither did my other spares or new lipo's.... Mcpx still packed so hoping my bodged skids hold up and that 4 lipo's can hold out for two weeks!

My Air Time tough skids arrived today. Really great service from Richard at Air Time. He was even emailing over easter weekend to keep me updated on the progress as he was wanting to make sure I got the rev 4 skids.

Make sure you watch his you tube vid to put the skids together. (HOW TO FIT struts and skids and a little more info.. to maximize your FUN!! - YouTube).

Having gone through a few pairs of stock skids already.. loving these as you can bend/squash them all you like and they just take it!!

Having purchased a set from Richard when he was shipping revision 3 (which are still going strong - absolutely no complaints), I've now received a package with 2 more sets - one in black, one in white - for free!!

Unbelievable service! I can thoroughly recommend the AirTime products and Richard is a top bloke!

              Cheers,
              Matt.

Had mine yesterday, fitted today, fiddly to fit but look superb! And also received a second pair free! Will test their strength over the next few weeks. Love the personalised service!

Maybe a stupid question, but the info. on the airtime skids product says they easily take the 500mah lipo. Will the skids take the 200 and 250 mah lipos that came with my mcpx v2 that I received yesterday, flew today and bust the stock skids on lipo #2?

There are 2 different types of skids that Richard makes, 1 for stock size batteries and 1 for the bigger types that people tend to use with brushless set ups.

Mine are great. I especially like the low profiles
The weather is not great for heli flying (or anything else) in the UK at the moment

It's been great here, flew 6 batteries outside at lunch time! I very much want the low profile skids you posted earlier. Any idea when they come out? I am currently using the Xtreme tubed ones, and although bullet proof and awesome looking, for some reason now they keep falling out!

hey Rich... fitted mine yesterday wasn't 100% convinced in the ease of sliding battiries (stock and 300mah) in and out seemed a bit fidly with the cross beam on the rear getting in the way. however the pure fact that it wont break after each landing im sure i can get used to it.

also I dont think I shaved enough off the pegs before fitting to frame and cracked the frame doh! other than that im looking forward to putting it to the test this weekend!

thanks again for your awesome service keep it up!

Got back a few days ago off my week break and the skids were waiting for me.....2 sets...black ones and white ones....superb.
Two very minor issues i can live with are that the battery slides in the skids....been trying to think of a way to stop this then i tried bending the bottom rail under the battery up slightly and this helped enormously.
Second is only down to my personal preference......i trimmed 8mm off the back of each skid to shorten them slightly as they looked a little long.
                              Like i said...personal preference.
Cant see me having to buy skids for the foreseeable future.... whoopee!!!!
                              Cheers all.....Karl...
