Not if you stick a 2mm x 6mm strip of gaffer tape over the end of the guides.

I used a hot glue gun and put a tiny bit of glue over the ends.

nice vid as always mate, the HS does sound a lot higher than on my v1, maybe after about 80-90 flights mine is giving up. Is it so much better than the v1 that you would get a v2 if you already own a v1?

Thanks. If I already had the V1 then I would probably still get the v2. It does feel much more locked it and has the needed changes already done.

If you want a little pointer from someone in the game can I offer you this?

Look back at 00:20 to 03:10, the viewer is on the same frame for the whole time which means their attention is likely to waiver. If you get some footage of close ups on your hands, the packaging and a couple of wides of the room you can drop quick inserts in on your timeline during the edit to beak up the segment. Also while you were flying you could have locked off your camera at the end of the garden and just shot a few seconds looking back at you pretending to fly so you have something to cut in. Not only does it help draw the viewer in it also gives them a sense of the surroundings & envoronment.

Although I hate the show if you watch the location pieces on Top Gear their editors are very clever with their use of random inserts, sometimes static views of completely unrelated items shot in bad light or with a grainy effects keep popping up to keep you on your toes. (I guess they have had to perfect something to cover up the poor scripts & dreadful acting. Just sayin')
Its worth recording something like TG and taking notes of how many camera angles they use, how long they stay on any particular frame, how many cuts & inserts they use and how often, that way you can build a framework of how many angles you need before you start.

When you bind the V2 don't you need to use the rudder stick (unlike the V1) ? That is certainly what I have read and I believe that the instruction manual has been amended to include this.
